Shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, officers from the police department were called to the 1000 block of West Baltimore Street to investigate reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, they found a woman unresponsive with a gunshot wound, and responding paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene from the injury.
No information about a shooting suspect or possible motive has been released by investigators with the Baltimore Police Department.
